Story Stuff/Hotel Armory
(Inspired from the first level of Unreal (Gold)) I woke up on the floor of a hotel i had stayed at two months ago. I had left a week later and hadn't come back yet, what was i doing here. The hotel room i was in looked about the same with some slight differences—i guess the people who dragged me back here forgot my room number. I walked out and saw that this place was a lot more dilapidated than before. It was already kinda grungy, but not as much as now. Furthermore: the walls were metal which they weren't before, and the floor was also metal. Everything was rusted and there was still water—or some other clear liquid given the viscosity—on the metal. The doors were now like airlocks, weird. I walked around, trying to find what happened, and found a lot of bodies. Something bad must have happened (no [S] Sherlock). I randomly came across two things: an explanation, and an armory. Of course i went straight to the armory because i don't wanna be killed by whatever swept through here. The floor was made out of ice and in the center was a platform with something floating in it. I couldn't get it because of a forcefield like thing around it. There was a hallway leading to the main part of the armory, unfortunately it was under the ice. I went back to where the explanation was. It explained some weird experiments like editing my brain so they could control what's in front of my eyes and making my bones metal. It was mostly the controlling part that pushed me over the edge. I then realized that the thing in the forcefield was a prototype version of that-ish. Also in the armory was a path to the breaker box, which was rusted out so much that i was shocked that the lights were on. In the power room was also a "break glass in case of emergency" thing with a metal thing inside. The only thing that could have broken the glass would have been a metal shaving—which there was, everywhere. I threw a chunk at the glass and figured out the metal thing was like a dial mixed with a switch mixed with the timer from that "Perfection" game where you have to put in the pieces, you know the one. That lowered the forcefield and allowed me to grab the metal thing that would bring me back to the ""normal"" world without them. It was weirder than i thought though. You had to stick it through your forehead so it could attach to your brain and also it gave you basically armor. I did it and now i had a weird interface. This isn't what i thought it was but it was in an armory. I had to find the instruction guide, which was under the ice. But good thing the forcefield thing moved down so that people could grab it and it eventually broke some of the ice. Which allowed me to get the guild and figure out how to sync my brain-control-thing to the device. I woke up after feeling a shock, i was back home. That's it, bye.
